Introduction
Hello, I'm Sunghee who's been doing Sunny's Guitar Journey!
This time, I'm starting out with a new section "Sunny's Studio"
My dream is to become a journalist or a producer.
I want my major to be film (further explained in mentor explanation section)
That is why I started to make this portfolio.
Before choosing this topic...
I was very contemplating about picking this topic.
I thought if I make a film as my project, I will have to be skilled in film production like John or Joshua in our school.
I looked through some choreographies and it seemed to require a lot of equipments (camera tools) and I don't know much programs for editing videos!
But as I talked with some people, I figured that making this film portfolio is part of showing me (my thought process and character) not how I doing fantastic at making videos.
I was completely compelled into the project as I planned out the project. This was coming out from my pure.. joy!
What am I doing?
I will be searching through my pursue of value and interest of the world I am living in (sounds grand hehe) THROUGH art and film which I like.
I will take pictures and use the pictures for drawing and filming.
Although I had a lot of imaginations and dreams floating around my head, because it was always too much, I wasn't able to turn it to a record.
The few things I was able to turn it into a record were by written languages ( like writing a novel).
But I think videos and drawings are other creative sources that could somehow express my character.
My mentors
1. Urim Chung from 12th grade.
Urim gave me a hand to actually take a step in the project I have been worried to work on. Urim suggested me various Youtube channels that contained my interests.
2. Mr. Kim is our school counselor.
Through the counseling with Mr. Kim, I figured that although I want to become a journalist, I don’t always have to choose a major that is specifically related to journalism. If
My Goal
- My primary goal is to reflect how I use art and film for an aid for learning and understanding the world. As much as literature and movies gives us moral lessons and shows us the fantasy based on the real world, I want to know how I will be reflecting the world.
- I want to get intimate with editing videos.

#1 Blog: Take photos of whatever my conscience feels like. Interpret it. (The topic will be based on the book I'm reading "Candide" or " The Beauty and the Beast")

#3 Blog: Make a video out of it using musics I would like to use.

I might be watching "Beauty and the Beast" for the weekend--- so I might be using this for my project ! :D
